Description

Original official promotional 2 sided poster from 1985 for the Psychocandy tour promoting the album of the same name and featuring Bobbie Gillespie of Primal Scream on drums.  The Dimensions are approximately 35 inches by 27 inches.  Poster has a little wear and tear but this is not serious and poster will look great framed. The wear and tear is mainly due to the poster being kept folded and due to the residue of blu-tack on the back.  The blu-tack should be easy to remove. There are a few small areas where the poster has slight damage on the back due to blu-tack but these are small.  The white lines near the top corners on the front of the poster are part of the design and are not damage.

 

The Jesus and Mary Chain were like a collision of garage psych, punk, post punk, The Velvet Underground, The Beach Boys, Syd Barrett, Pink Floyd, The Sex Pistols, Loop, Iggy Pop and The Stooges, The Ramones, and The Shangri-Las.  They have been a seminal influence on many including Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Kasabian, Oasis, Spiritualized, Primal Scream and Spacemen 3. 

 

The poster looks fantastic and is VERY RARE.  This poster comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
