The Composer: Riga, born Nachum Heiman, grew up in Israel, where his family gained refuge at the outbreak of World War II. His burgeoning talent found expression in song-writing. His work was heard by Michel LeGrand. who guided the young composer toward scoring films and television dramas. Because of his innate sense of the rhythms and color of the Holy Land, he was invited to compose the music for "Jesus." Recorded at Olympic Sound Studios. London.
