I purchased this album advertised in excellent/’almost near mint’ and following my own appraisal I agree with this. I broke my own rule of only playing an album once as a test play and played this twice through the Grados; no question this is one of the best remasters Mofi has ever done.  A visual inspection revealed a couple of faint lines (only seen at certain angles and it took me a while to find these things) however there no impact to the sound (no pops, ticks or clicks).  This having been said numerically I score the vinyl an 89 which I feel is the top of the excellent spectrum and had I not found these lines I would have scored the vinyl near mint without hesitation.   The cover is almost perfect…except for a sizeable dent on the top left corner of the gatefold.  You won’t miss this in the pictures (almost without question I imagine the jacket fell right out of someone’s hand and straight away onto that corner). There is some light wear in the bottom left and bottom right corners however nothing too bad.  If you run your hand along the bottom of the gatefold you can feel small dimples however there are no separations.  The top seams have no issues, less the top left corner. When looking at the cover from behind the impact from the front top left has translated into the top right rear corner to a much lesser degree (a light crease that runs about 1” and a lesser crease below that of about the same length. This all having been said numerically I score the cover a 81 which I feel is within the lower end of the excellent category, like a solid B-.  Album is shipped within cardboard, the vinyl outside of the jacket, inside a Whiplash mailer.  If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
