Jethro Tull: Aqualung CHRYSALIS CHR 1044 UK
INCREADIBLY RARE mispressed label variation !!! Instead of the correct label and track listing, side A has Blondie "Plastic letters" label with CHR 1166 cat. number on it, while side B has the correct Aqualung track listing and cat. number… The music is the original Jethro Tull version on both sides…Now, JUST HOW RARE IS THAT ??? Probably no more than few hundred ( IF THAT ) of this variation left the pressing plant, even less survived the last 38 years…!!!
Comes with original inner sleeve ( MINT ) with the two bottom corners rounded off…
cover: matt, semi textured Robor Limited GF cover ( with folded-under front flip ), nice and clean EX++ condition with very light bottom edge wear... ….NO rips,NO writings or any other damages..…inside is nice and clean….spine is very nice,square and clean with all the text present and visible…opening edges are straight and sharp,no signs of use at all…
record,visual: superb clean EX++ with few whispy hairlines from the paper inner sleeve ..….it still retains it’s beautiful original sheen and it looks VERY NEAR NEW.
labels: AS CLEAN AS IT CAN BE without any spindle hole marks… CHR 1044 A2 ( A PORKY PRIME CUT etching..) and CHR 1044 B 4U ( A PORKY PRIME CUT etching..) matrix numbers… no tears,stamps or any other damages...
