Jethro Tull X4 Albums
Grading rated using Goldmine Mag Tested on my 20yr old newly serviced Rega Planar 2
Aqualung 12" Album (33rpm) 1971 CHR 1044 Chrysalis Textured outside/inside Gatefold, left side sealed Outer Sleeve: overall very nice, small amount scuffing mainly to corners Inner Sleeve: original, reasonably tidy.. slight hole in bottom where record has come through a little
Record Side A: overall visually excellent, one fine surface scratch Side B: overall visually excellent, one light scratch, a little pop/noise Centre labels: Spindle area and labels good. uv markings on both sides
Plays brilliantly, sounds rather good, no skipping, there are a couple of pops/noise but doesn't distract from listening, mainly noticed in between tracks.

Rock is Island 12" Album (33rpm) 1989 Chrysalis CHR 1708 Outer Sleeve: In excellent condition with minimal scuffing, the remains of a label at top right Inner Sleeve: Original, superb
Record Side A: visually excellent, one little surface scratch Side B: visually excellent, couple fine surface scratches, pops/noise a little bit Centre label: Spindle and label area reasonably good
Plays excellently, sounds rather good, no skipping and pops/noise overall minimal

Original Masters 12" Album (33rpm) 1985 Chrysalis JTTV1 Outer Sleeve: In excellent condition with minimal scuffing Inner Sleeves: Plain original and in excellent condition
Record Side A: visually excellent, couple fine surface scratches, small amount of noise here and there Side B: visually excellent, a light surface scratch covering the length of the side Centre label: Spindle area reasonably good. uv markings on both sides
Both sides play excellently, no skipping and pops/noise overall minimal on both sides

Stormwatch 12" Album (33rpm) 1979 Chrysalis CDL 1238 Outer Sleeve: whilst it serves purpose its not great: label tear on front, been damp? and other marks Inner Sleeves: Original and in reasonable condition
Record Side A: visually good, some fine surface scratches Side B: visually reasonable has fine surface scratches Centre label: Spindle and label area good.
Not the tidiest of this collection but surprisingly it does play well, actually sounds quite good, no skipping but some noise and pops can be heard during some tracks.

These albums are from my personal collection. Possibly 2nd hand when I bought them. Always stored upright, out of sunlight and cleaned before each play through. I have had a full play test of these, there is no skipping at all and overall the sound is excellent considering the age of these albums. Before now I hadn't played these for some some years.
Albums with UV markings: these small markings can be seen without the use of a uv light at certain angles, images might show this. This doesn't affect playing the record but serious collector's probably won't want records with this.
Photographs may show unwanted reflections.
Albums are meant to be played!
