JETHRO TULL "A SONG FOR JEFFREY/LOVE STORY" **JAPAN** REPRISE JET-1894 PICTURE SLEEVE
To my fellow Jethro Tull collectors: here is your chance to own a true rarity. This Japanese 7" 45 rpm single comes with a beautiful picture sleeve from the photo shoot of "This Was." It has been in my collection for many years but now it is time to give another fan a chance to own it. Considering that it is 39 years old, it is in spectacular condition: The single page picture sleeve is in fine shape, with only a small bend on the lower right (see photos) and light aging on the back (A short essay on Tull in Japanese and English Lyrics for "Love Story"). It comes in the original Reprise sleeve and has the tri-center fully intact. Labels are mint, with no writing or other defects. It plays near M- but I will give it a VG+ (aka EX) due to its age: it is in excellent shape! These Japanese singles were made with virgin vinyl, on spectacular see through vinyl.

I play rate all vinyl and am a conservative grader (some say down right picky). A purely visual inspection might be convenient for the seller but not necessarily for the buyer! I've been collecting vinyl for 30 years and know from experience that visually a record might look mint but may play with alot of surface noise; some vinyl looks pretty bad but may sound terrific. So, playing all of the record- not just bits- is the way to go.
