Description
An original 1st press of Songs From The Wood on the Chrysalis label in the UK. Matrix A/B. Etching "10th Set". Label design and etchings are consistent with very 1st press in 1977. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with printed advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has clearly only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out one very light mark - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is practically non-existent. All we detected was a couple of crackles [literally] throughout the entire length of the LP. Audio quality is absolutely top-level and practically perfect. FINAL UPGRADE territory.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after carefully down the years. A lovely shiny front and back with almost no creasing at all. No nasty marks or indentations. The only vaguely noticeable wear is along the edges and even this is light. The text on the spine is still readable. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains perfectly flat. A really very nice specimen.
Inner (Vg+) A bit of ageing, but no splits or marks.
