Sensational sound quality, NO skips or jumps. NO clicks, this is really a stunning vinyl with a beautiful deep gloss. This is the heaviest variety of the Island vinyls, renowned for their tremendous sound quality. But most of all ... NO CRACKLE!!!! This is awesome!!!!! BOURREE sounds OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!
Vinyl: VG++ with only a few faint hairlines visible under a strong light and angled!! This SOUNDS EVEN BETTER than one wpould expect!!!! There is nothing that compares to a first press of the "Golden Era". High groove walls make sure of a very enjoyable listen!! I am listening to this album for a second time whilst completing this listing. THERE IS NOT ANY FLAW!!! This is a must have esp. for all my buyers in Italy and Russia (you know who you are) . Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled. THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!
I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! There are not any jumps or skips. There is no background noise at all!! Very remarkable for this 1969 vinyl!!! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!
Sleeve: EX. Gatefold sleeve . Lovely condition WITHOUT ANY CREASES!!!! The POP-UP is immaculate!! NO writing, one of the best copies I have ever come across and I have seen a fair few .....!!! Some storage edge scuffing mainly to the bottom edge. The slight onset of some ringwear to the back. A fully legible spine. Wow!!! still listening and thinking .... whoever is going to win this is going to be very happy to hear this second and BEST EVER album!!!! The AUDIO is SOOOOOOOOOO stunning!!!! There is that warmth in the sound you could only ever get with a first press vinyl. Not remastered or digitised where I think the music loses its soul. NO CD or whatever format could ever reach this height!!! An audiophile's DREAM come true!!!!
This is a unique investment opportunity, and in my opinion this album is harder to get hold of than "This Was".
The inside Gatefold is immaculate. Pop-up fully intact without any blemish!! No writing!! No stickers or tears!!!
