Description
On offer here is a copy of Stand Up by Jethro Tull, released in 1970 on the Pink Island label catalogue number ILPS 9103.
The unlaminated gatefold cover is in Near Mint condition, with no burring of the openings, straight spine and perfect "Pop Up" together with a lovely white back, really incredible for an album that is now 45 years old.
The vinyl is also Near Mint and has a glossy shine to both sides with no visible flaws. The Pink Island labels are "rough" textured and have no spindle or other marks.
Matrix number is ILPS + 9103 + A2.
If all this was not enough, there is also a Near Mint press cutting from The Illustrated London News dated January 3rd 1970 which explains that the cover had cost £12,000 to produce, and each one has to be made by hand.
This is a great and essential rock album that should grace any collection, and in this time warp condition is a must for any serious collector.
The record will be sent outside of it's cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12" cardboard stiffeners in a heavy duty professional record envelope made by Covers 33.
