Description
1st Pressing pink 'bull's-eye' label Jethro Tull 'Stand Up' vinyl album. I had a tough time grading this as the vinyl is visually stunning..... it plays perfect but the only noticeable mark is all the way through track 4 on the a side 'back to the family' - it gives faint noise so I have erred on the side of caution and graded this Very Good (VG). The rest of the album is as near mint as you are going to find a 47 year disc but I value my reputation more than an extra 20 quid by stepping it up a grade.
The labels on both sides are the right shade of matt pink - with just the normal spindle marks for the overall condition. The black and orange bulls-eye and bubble island logo denote this as the very 1st pressing of this album - as does the lack of 'stereo' on the spine.
The outside of the sleeve is VG+, just the slightest of wear to the corners and open edge. The mostly white rear of the cover is clean and straight. Inside the gatefold cover the pop-up is mint - as is the track listing and credits.
The original white label anti static inner is Very Good (VG) - it shows some creases to the corners and a couple of wrinkles.
I normally list my records with a buy it now price - but this is something special - I will let the market decide the value of this one.
Cleaned with anti static solution and play tested before listing, the photographs are of the actual record for sale and I won't shy away from showing the edges and corners.
Graded to the Goldmine / Discogs standard. Prices are researched and everything is priced to sell. I will entertain offers but you must argue your case ;-)
I have been buying / swapping / selling records since I got pocket money and will grade them as if I was buying them. If they snap, crackle or pop I will say so!!
Will package in a stiff card mailer with 2 thick inserts for posting to the UK, Europe or North America and will happily combine postage with other records I'm listing for sale
Advertised elsewhere and priced to sell so dive in quick if you want to grab a bargain while its here!!
I don't make anything 'extra' on my postage charges - this is what it actually costs me to pack and send the record - for higher value items I'll often swallow a chunk of the postage cost to make sure it gets there safe and sound. If you are anywhere near Mirfield, West Yorkshire you are welcome to collect and / or try before you buy. The record player and coffee machine are on most days ....
The information below should give you everything you need to know about this record - if you have any questions or want a specific detailed image just let me know.
Thanks for looking - and check out my other items for sale!
