Jethro Tull / This was (Reprise SJET-8129) Japan Original Mega-Rare LP!! Released in '69, it comes with "Mega-Rare DIE-CUT COVER-Sized OBI" & "G/F COVER"!! This is Japan first press copy with complete appendices. Have you ever seen original Die-Cut Cover-Sized OBI for this Japanese LP? It's extremely rare item, not only in my country, but all over the world! Die-Cut OBI is the same as the cover in size, without any tear, but only brown stain on front & back. Even if this scarce OBI is found, it's usually torn in die-cut portion. But this OBI is free of tear!
// What's interesing, lyric is printed inside the cover-obi (through die-cut portion, you can see it). Description is printed on the back of obi. So this obscure obi is also functioned as insert! (so insert is not made for this item). Some purchaser for this Japanese LP in those days, cut top & bottom of obi to make it flat for insert. But this cover-obi is free from cut. Only blemish is brown stain on front & back (See photo). Don't miss the gem!!
/// EX/EX+ (Cover/Disc) in condition.
COVER: Gate-fold Cover is excellent in condition, except for slightly worn corners, right-edge & bottom with the spine slightly creased. There's slight smudge in top-rim inside gate-fold. Otherwise none of any tear, ring-crease, dent, strip and wrighting...OK.
DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, except for several slight scuffs with slight smudge on the inner-groove of SideB. Otherwise none of any scratch, hairline and spindle-mark on each label, which is be rated as "EX+". No flaw on "outer-groove"...very clean disc for 36 years-old product.
OBI: OBI is G, which is partly torn in die-cut portion of front (See photo). There's some light stain on front & back (as usual for this item), with several wrighting of circle in track-list (See photo). Otherwise OK for this fragile material.
