Die sehr rare deutsche Erstausgabe des grandiosen Debut-Albums der legendären Band um Mastermind Ian Anderson. Nur diese Erstausgabe beinhaltete das riesige (90x90cm) Ian Anderson Poster, und war schon kurze Zeit später vergriffen. Sicherlich das meistgesuchte Jethro Tull Sammlerstück. Druckfehler ("Jethro Thull") am LP Rücken!
This is the very rare first german pressing of the debut album of the legendary band around mastermind Ian Anderson. It was released in germany back in 1970 and only this first issue had the giant (90x90cm) Ian Anderson poster and was sold out very quickly. Further prssings didn't have the poster (even when indication this on the cover). The spine has the now famous misprint "Jethro Thull".
Zustand/Condition:
Das Album ist leider definitiv nicht in mint erhalten, es zeigt klare Gebrauchsspuren (bitte die Fotos beachten). Abrieb am Cover und leicht angestoßene Ecken. Die Label sind ok, das Vinyl hat Haarlinien, spielt aber (eben noch aufgelegt) ordentlich und mit wenigen Nebengeräuschen durch. Keine Sprünge. Das Poster -und somit wohl der wichtigste Teil dieses Exponats- ist (sauber!) geklebt, aber vollständig. Auch hier: bitte einen Blick auf die Fotos werfen. Ich habe immer Bedenken, eine Platte endgültig zu bewerten und gebe für Vinyl, Cover & Poster vorsichtig "vg-" an. Insgesamt ein durchaus sammelwürdiges Exemplar für denjenigen, der diese Ausgabe sucht. Eben da kommt die Platte her: aus meiner Sammlung. Ich hatte das Glück, ein besser erhaltenes Exemplar zu bekommen. Sollte es noch irgendeine Frage zum Zustand geben oder Bedarf an weiteren Fotos: bitte einfach melden!
The album definitely is not in "mint" condition (please see pictures!) Cover shows some wear, the vinyl has lots of hairlines, but plays nice (just listened to it, while writing these lines). The poster (probably the most important thing) was carefully taped, but it is complete (and looks nice, too!). Overall, I'd give this a careful "vg-", but please have a look at the pictures and don't hesitate to ask if you need any more info (or pics!).
