!!!PROGRESSIVE DELIGHT!!!!TEXTURED EARLIEST PINK "Eye Ball" LABEL!!!HEAVY GLOSSY VINYL!!!!FIRST PRESS STEREO!! THIS IS THE HARDEST TULL ALBUM TO FIND!!SUPPOSEDLY ONLY 500 COPIES WERE PRESSED!!!HOW MANY WOULD HAVE SURVIVED AFTER 43 YEARS???

I have played this in FULL> The audio is absolutely stunning!! There are not any jumps or skips. A fantastic enjoyable vinyl and soooooooo very very rare. This mono album was only around for 1 week (!!!) to be replaced by the much more common stereo version. apparently the band were not happy with the mix. Only the "Jethro Toe" single is a scarcer Tull item.Very remarkable for this 1968 vinyl!!! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!! Wonderful audio and fantastic channel separation, out of this world.

Vinyl: VG+ to EX. An absolutely stunning vinyl and the very earliest very heavy vinyl. Fantastic sound quality, far more better than any later issue or the CD re-issues. NO jumps, NO skips, NO clicks and NO background noise!! This pressing does the Island label proud!! The high groove walls make for a stunning audio quality despite a few scuffs that do not affect the replay. Only a couple of miniscule wispy hairlines under an intense light. This mono mix IS different to the stereo. I really enjoyed this listen, esp. "Dharma For One" and "Song For Jeffrey".

Gatefold Sleeve: VG+. Light edge creases, some corner wear and a small dedication in ballpoint on one of the inner flipbacks, not at all intrusive and quite neat. The spine is 100% readable. The opening is slightly furred. All in all a respectable sleeve that will sit well in any great prog collection.

Labels: EX. Stunning ROUGH textured with inner ridge. Beautiful labels one of which has an arrow transfer attached. Not really disturbing.
