Jigsaw - Letherslade Farm (Philips 1970)

Rarely seen debut album from Jigsaw from 1970 on Philips. 
This UK 1st pressing is a bit of a psych classic that has slipped under the radar somewhat – the songs are linked by daft sketches and skits, but there are some really decent psych pop pieces here that give more than a glimpse of the songwriting chops of Clive Scott and Des Dyer, who went on to score a number of pop hits in the 70s and 80s, mostly writing for others, though Jigsaw's Sky High was a bit hit in the UK and the US. 
The fully laminated sleeve is in Excellent shape – 1cm of rubwear to the bottom edge and that's it. 
The vinyl is also in really decent shape – some minor marks and hairlines if you look closely but it plays really well and grades VG++ to Excellent. 
Black and silver Philips labels are also excellent with no wear of note. 
Excellent condition lined white paper inner sleeve too. 
A nice find for psych collectors - you'd struggle to upgrade on this one.
