Description
Rarest of rare for that Flora collector. This appears to be an RCA Victor traveling salesman's sample that perhaps went into some sort of binder. It is mounted on a slightly thicker cardboard than the standard cardboard sleeve shown beside. Notice also the advertisment on the back of the various RCA albums availabile-45 and LP.
I have had this professionally shrink sleeved to eliminate any scratches or chips along the edge. The corners are factory rounded and have not been trimmed. The color appears a little faded also, but it's surface is flawless, the reverse and edges have some light age related foxing. There are two brass looking eye's that I assume were for reinforcement in that salesman's binder when he showed dealers the various music that was available to them. This item is from the estate of a long lost relative who owned a music store in New Jersey circa, 1940's-1980's. I will be listing some of the other goodies we found there in the near future.
The 45 set is NOT included in this auction, it is only in the photos for compairison.
