I stumbled across this record at my local flea market. It took me a second to realize what it was, but when I did and saw it was still sealed, I couldn't believe my eyes! Not only is this record one of the rarest records ever (likely only 1,000 or less were ever pressed) but this is a sealed copy! If you're into cult history, or collect macabre artifacts then this is the piece for you. This thing belongs in the Smithsonian!
For those who somehow don;t know about Jim Jones and The Peoples Temple, here's a brief synopsis of why this collectable is soo rare and amazing:

"Peoples Temple was a religious organization founded in 1955 by Jim Jones that, by the mid-1970s, included over a dozen locations in California including its headquarters in San Francisco. It is best known for the events of November 18, 1978 in Guyana, in which 918 people died at the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project (informally, and now commonly, called "Jonestown"), a nearby airstrip at Port Kaituma, and Georgetown.
The mass killings at Jonestown resulted in the greatest single loss of American civilian life in a non-natural disaster, prior to the events of September 11, 2001. At the airstrip, Temple members murdered, among others, Congressman Leo Ryan."
