I went back and looked at 'Sold' prices for this item and decided to lower the price.

Okay, here I go. This box set has the same Polydor number as the German release. I have only found one listing of the Australian version online, and it gave the contents as the same as the German release.  Same number, same album/song list on back of box.  I have also listed the German release on eBay so I'm going to copy & paste the info from that. Keep in mind that THIS copy is unopened.  Also, look closely at last picture. There appears to be some degradation of the back/bottom corner of the box, yet does not appear to go through.  I am clueless.  Okay, here comes the paste with some editing:

This is a great box set. It may say Polydor on it, but this is a Deutsche Grammophon release. (I have no proof of that on the Australia release)  I'm calling the outer box near mint, because of the unexplained damage mentioned above). The cellophane is still on the box, has never been opened.

To make more sense of this: my brother was a disc jockey and later a record store owner. I have counted over 90 Hendrix albums in his collection. Even better, in 1968 we went to our first concert - Jimi Hendrix Experience at Cincinnati Gardens. Once I finish this listing I will be putting up the same box set, only it's the Australian release - unopened.

This set says 12 LPs. However, Ladyland is a double album, so there's 11 albums, 12 LP records, PLUS the extended play EP disc of Gloria and Hey Joe on the B side.  For more detailed information go to discogs.com and search Jimi Hendrix - Jimi Hendrix.
