Description

Jimi Hendrix Acetate

 

This acetate (I think) dates from the early-70s and contains the tracks “Catfish Blues” and “Hey Joe/Purple Haze” performed in the Marquee Club.  As is common with acetates this has been heavily played and can only be described as Fair condition.  It doesn’t skip but does crackle throughout.


It was manufactured in the usual way by layering acetate over an aluminium disc and the label at some stage was pasted over with a white label.


At the time this was made, both of the tracks contained on it were unreleased but since then they have been released.
