Rare copy of the Jimi Hendrix Experience's debut album, Are You Experienced?, on the Barclay label, from France. The catalog number is 0820143 and the matrix number is HXBLY 820 143. This is a highly regarded and sought after pressing. This version has subtleties and nuances that I've never heard on other pressings - a very interesting and entertaining listen.
Condition:
Cover: VG+ - Some ring wear on the back, a few minor creases, and general age related soiling.
Labels: VG++ - Very clean. No writing or other issues.
Inner sleeve: VG - Appears to be original. A minor split along one seam, age related soiling, and some creases.
Vinyl visual: Weak VG+ - A fair amount of hairlines but no gouges.
Vinyl play: Weak VG+ - Surface noise throughout but never overpowers the music. A few clicks at the beginning of side 2 that clear up in approximately 30 seconds. No skips or jumps.
Pristine, mint, or near mint copies sell for hundreds. This copy goes for much less and, at a minimum, would be an excellent filler copy. Many listeners would consider it a long term keeper.
