The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced
(Track Records 612 001 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. The sleeve is a little bit worn, but the vinyl is quite nice & clean. Playback is very decent overall too. It has a heavyweight front laminated sleeve & comes with its original generic polythene lined company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has smooth black & silver "Track" labels. The record has 1st press matrix numbers. These are:
Side 1: 612001 A-1 1 1 2
Side 2: 612001 B-1 2 1
This is a genuine 1967 UK original LP pressing of this classic Psych-Rock-Blues debut LP. I have some other rare & collectable 1960's and 1970's UK original Rock, Blues, Folk etc... LP's for sale too. So please see my other listings.
Sleeve: The previous owner has stuck a thin strip of black tape along the entirety of the bottom edge (see photo). This obviously affects the bottom edge on the front & rear sleeve. There is a 2 cm area of more moderate rubbing wear at the centre of the top edge. There is mild. more moderate or moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is a very tiny 0.5 cm hairline tear at the front sleeve opening edge only. Otherwise, there is mild, very mild or more moderate rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. There are about 5 light or very mild laminate creases on the front sleeve. There is moderate to considerable rubbing wear on the spine face. The spine text is almost completely rubbed away. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. overall, Good+ condition
Vinyl: There is a 2 cm hairline surface mark at the start of Side 2. This is fairly noticeable, but it is only a surface mark. It does not cause any issues with playback. There are three very small hairline surface marks on Side 1. These measure from 0.5 cm to 1 .5 cm in length. There is a very mild 1.5 cm hairline surface mark on Side 2. Otherwise, there are some light, mild, very mild or very minor sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on a few areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, Very Good+ condition. The labels are in Excellent condition & show mild spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. There are about 4 mild or very mild clicks on "Love Or Confusion" on Side 1. There are a very few light or very mild intermittent clicks on the 1st track on Side 2. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy.
