Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting records in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted! Here is one of my pride-and-joys, a first-issue mono copy of "Axis Bold As Love", complete with the insert. A1 / B1 matrix. Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look.   Cover - Gatefold, laminated on the outside, with four laminated flip-backs on the inside. Lamination is intact on the outside, but is dulled in places. Colour is very nice. There are a few scallop creases near the opening, and light wear at the opening. Inside is very good but has name of previous owner in little biro letters at top of right hand side. Edges generally good, but small damages on the edge at right side of the front (right edge in my first picture). Some wear to most of the corners. Spine is good - but doesn't have album name as it would spoil the picture. Insert is included, is a foldover, is intact but has lots of minor creasing from handling (and sharing space with the record), and has a couple of stains, noticeable on hair and forehead of left-hand band member in the picture, and around Jimi's left eyebrow.
Record - isn't the prettiest thing you've ever seen - I'll talk about faults I see, but will also play-test it, and I'll add details about that when I've done it. Sixties records often play a lot better than they look. Side one - there's a nasty scratch on the lead-in and going across first half of the short first track. There's a light scratch going from track 3 into track 4, and light scratches from track 2 over to track 4. There's a small mark on track 3, a light scratch across the last track, another small scratch at the very start of the side, and some light scratches along the grooves. On side two, five light scratches in a group, going from track 1 to track 3. Various other light scratches and marks, and some streaks along the grooves.
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

Postage at cost within UK - £3.00 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard. Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same £3.50.
I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - you need to know this stuff.  Dispatch will usually be "next day". Collection in person is welcome.
I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer. They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer. This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.  E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid.  Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - there is no combined postage, I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system. International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme. If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid. International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!) Now, I've done the play-test - and, short version - it passed! A couple of general observations - firstly, fifties and sixties albums often play better than they look - having deep grooves, the stylus isn't impacted by what we might see on the surface. Secondly, scratches may be heard in-between tracks - grooves are bigger and deeper when the music is loud, and (additionally) music drowns-out any crackling, but not when there's no music! By extension, quiet intros and especially endings that fade-out to silence, allow us to hear the crackling. Now, specifically - this album doesn't crackle loudly, except on side one track one, the nasty scratch I mentioned. Once-per-rotation loud crackle during spoken part, which then reduces or is drowned-out by the following guitar racket. There is a nasty little stylus scratch on the lead-in, on side two going into the music grooves, which causes it to skip one groove at the very beginning of "You Got Me Floating". And scratch isn't audible after that. Generally, there is no sound of crackling or scratchiness at all  - nothing wrong at all - during the music, anywhere on the album, except on quiet endings / fade-outs. "Generally", because, particularly if you're listening to it loud, as I do when testing, you'll hear isolated crackles - 3 quiet ones at the start of "Little Wing", and a couple you might notice on "If Six Was Nine". On side two, some light crackles in start of "Castle made of Sand", and one later in the track. On track 4, quiet intro has one noticeable crackle. "Bold As Love" plays very well, despite having some quiet parts at the start.
