This item is an album made and released on Polydor Records in Japan by Jimi Hendrix entitled ‘Band Of Gypsys’. Record label and number is Polydor Records MPX 4010. This particular album features the ‘puppet cover’ that was soon withdrawn after the initial release of this album in 1970. This cover was re-released during the 1980’s in Japan and Australia. Record itself is in near mint condition and looks as if it might have been played once or twice. Record labels show no spindle wear (see photos). Record cover is also in near mint condition and looks new. Album comes with its original OBI band and insert with text in both Japanese and English (see photos). See photos for song listings.
