I have for sale my copy of Jimi Hendrix / Band of Gypsys on 12" LP. 2406 002 / STEREO / TRACK RECORD.
The vinyl has a lot of marks and crackles throughout, maybe not noticed as much when played very LOUD as it should be!
The inner is excellent and the puppet sleeve very lightly worn. Recorded live Fillmore East, New York in 1970. 6 track LP.
The sleeve features puppets of Hendrix, Brian Jones, Bob Dylan and John Peel. It was later replaced by a new sleeve featuring Hendrix on stage at the Isle of White festival for some bizarre reason. Wikipedia explains it better!
I have another copy (different sleeve as above) and the recording and sound is excellent, shame they are not combined...
