Overall description- this rare 1st pressing in the puppet cover is in excellent+ condition. It is heavy vinyl of 155gms and has the large label text. It has been play tested and plays well.
The vinyl is close to near mint - just one minor paper scuff on side A which doesn't cause any issue. The cover is in excellent condition with one small scuff on the front bottom left and a few creases - for a record of this age, it is in excellent condition. It has its original inner B.1/0670.
A very well kept example of this hard to find album
Released in the withdrawn puppet sleeve - after being withdrawn, the release was later re-marketed in a cover depicting Jimi playing at the Isle of Wight festival. The puppet / doll images depicted on the front of the sleeve are of Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Brian Jones and radio 1 DJ John Peel.
This record comes from a very well kept collection. It has been stored in a heavy duty plastic sleeve from its original purchase till now - which is why the sleeve is in such excellent condition. It is very unusual to find record sleeves of this age in such fine condition and is a credit to the original one owner. The vinyl has also been extremely well looked after and is in top condition as described in the overall description.
