Description
Band of Gypsys 2 is a posthumous live album by Jimi Hendrix released in October 1986. Only three tracks on the album were actually performed by the Band of Gypsys.
The other songs came from Hendrix's performances at the 1970 Atlanta International Pop Festival on July 4, 1970, and the Berkeley Community Theatre on May 30, 1970.
This release was deleted from the Capitol records catalog after it was found out that "Foxy Lady" and "Stop" were lifted from a videotape of the January 1, 1970, Fillmore East show to which Producer Alan Douglas did not have access.

Condition: Minor shelf wear, ring on cover jacket, bruising along edges, no splits. Replacement inner sleeve. Records shows very minor buffing wear, a couple of light scratches on Side 1 and a slight abrasion on Side 2. Record labels show minimal wear. Hand cleaned. Play-checked: a little static entering Track 1 on both sides, no popping and does not skip. Plays through cleanly.

- (M) or (N) Mint, New, shiny, never played.
- (NM) Near Mint. Like new, possibly played, no visible signs of wear or damage.
- (EX) Excellent. May have light marks, played a few times, but low in surface noise or no surface noise.
- (VG+) Very Good Plus. Has been played more times than (EX), has more marks and surface noise, doesn't skip.
- (VG) Very Good. Has been played many times, may be more surface noise and slight popping, but shouldn't skip while playing.
- (G) Good. Considerable wear with abrasions and scratching, but still playable.
Shipping: Your record album will be shipped in a new shipping box between cardboard inserts. Vinyl will be packaged outside of album cover if unsealed to prevent seam splits.
