Description
This the rare Band of Gypsys LP by Jimi Hendrix. Track records no. 2406 002 stereo. The record has the black Track label and the sleeve is the single pocket type.
I have used the Goldmine Records system of grading to mark this "Good" for sleeve and "Good" for record. I realise that other buyers/sellers have different ideas about grading but if you Google this grading system you will know what I am describing is accurately reflected in the item for sale.
It has been well played and reflects its age, with surface marks, a few scratches and the sleeve is dull, slight creases in part and worn on the spine. No writing on record or sleeve, but on the sleeve back there is the impression of writing, which can be seen when turned in the light. Also there has been sellotape on the sleeve at some time but this is now removed, leaving the impression of the adhesive.
I have play-checked condition and the record played right through with no skips on either side. There is light crackle and hiss between tracks, and before the music starts, that is only to be expected.
I will answer any questions and provide any photos required (please email requests). I have seen other sellers describe records like this as the one you buy before getting the perfect one. It won't disappoint and you may be surprised as you may rate it higher than I have. Starting at less than a pound - if you get it low you will be very happy!!
