Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection, so I can concentrate my collection in one specific area. So please look at my other listings. Listed here is a Very RARE album by Jimi Hendrix titled Band of Gypsys. This is a UK Original 1sr Pressing on Track 2406 002. This stereo copy is pressed on the very collectable Track label. The Label has “Made in Gt.Britain” statements on it indicating first pressing. What makes it RARE is that it has the PUPPET Sleeve, which only the first pressings had, later pressings didn’t have this. Also has the early matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: 2406 002 A-1 / 2406 002 B-1
VINYL - Both sides of the record are in VG+ condition. There is a trace of minor/light background noise/static which is only really noticeable between the tracks and in the quieter places. NO skips, NO Jumps, NO sticking. Some light pops, there are a couple hairline scratches, which don’t affect the sound quality, NO Clicks.
SLEEVE - The sleeve is in VG+ condition. Tiny amount of spine wear (text is all readable), small amount of edge wear, NO Tears, NO Splits, tiny amount of creasing. NO Rub marks, NO Pen marks/writing or Graffiti. NO Ring wear. There is a white mark in the top left corner, which may have been where a price sticker was (see photo).
Original Inner is in EX condition, NO Writing or Graffiti.
Label’s are in EX condition. Some spindle marks, NO Writing/graffiti.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
