Jimi Hendrix - The Cry of Love (Reprise MS2034, 1971, wlp)
The best of the posthumous Hendrix albums? It's subject to debate, but this is the format in which this superb set of songs was originally heard. Here's a white label promo copy of this landmark, out-of-print release, in gently-used VG++ condition. This has been in my own collection for more than 25 years, and has been played but sparingly over that time, as I've got a nice-sounding stock copy. As a promo copy, it is by definition a hot-stamp, with Bob Ludwig's signature "RL" in the trail-off groove. The cover has some slight ring-wear around the top, and a small mark at the upper right where somebody removed a sticker. The original transparent title sticker is intact at upper left. Seams are entirely intact, but there's a little crunch at the bottom of the spine.
