Description

An original mono 1st press of "Strange Things" on the UK London label from 1968. Matrix 1B/1B - very 1st cut. Stampers 1B/1K - placing this copy amongst the first few thousand copies ever pressed. The heavy-set vinyl comes houses in an original Mono Sp ltd cover with pinched spine. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Precious little to complain at...a very nice solid rendition without fault. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All we could detect was just a touch of light static in a couple of isolated spots. A very nice clean player and one which I can recommend thoroughly.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely clean unaged front with only one slight crease. The rear is in very nice condition - just the lightest ageing creeping in at the extremities. Edge wear is very light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) A bit of ageing. But no splits.
