Jimi Hendrix - Electric LadyLand - British Pressing on Track Records Catalog Number 613008/9. I'm told that this is a first pressing but there are so many conflicting accounts of what is and what isn't a first pressing of this album that I won't say for sure. It has the blue text on the inside of the gatefold cover. The gatefold has a high gloss finish. The matrix numbers are Side A - 61300 (there is a scratched out 8 and 7 or 9) then a hand etched 8 followed by A//1. Side B - 61300 scratched out 8 hand etched 9A scratched out B(?) //1. Side C - hand etched 613009 B XXXXXXX A//1. It appears under the X's were the numbers 613008. Side D - 61300 scratched out 9 hand etched 8 B//1. Those are the matrix numbers as good as I can read them. As for the condition, The records have some superficial marking - mostly light scratching from being put in and out of the inner sleeves. I give the records themselves a VG+. That's play graded. There is some background noise on the lead in but 90% of it goes away just before the music starts. The Gatefold Jacket I give a VG due to some age wear and creasing - See Pics. I have the records in plastic lined paper inner sleeves but will also include the original inner sleeves marked Made In England for the collectability. They are in pretty bad shape and I won't use them to store the records but at least you will have them. I don't know really know what more to tell you about this album other that it is VERY RARE and that this is one of the only copies of this album that you will find here in the US. That means US buyers won't have to pay international shipping and have a long wait to get it. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
