Description

Welcome to my auctions....The time has come to sell my huge record collection over the next weeks/months...so check out my other vinyl listed, more added each week.

I am a private collector, selling my collection, I am not a dealer.

Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland - Earliest Stereo - Black and Silver 1st Press Track Labels with inverted matrix numbers above Correct matrix numbers - Etched out matrix numbers in run offs -  1st UK Pressing Very rare FULL BLUE TEXT Sleeve

613009

1968

Side A : 61300##8 A//1 1
Side D : 61300#8 B//1 1 1
Side B : 61300#9 A#//1 1
Side C : Hand written 613009 B ######## //1 1 2 2

(## indicates etched out matrix, hand written replacement letters/numbers) ((Numbers that follow matrix are very faint, the above is as I see them)

Side A has 4 or 5 big scratch marks, they don't look deep but they are clearly visable, they don't feel deep, appart from that only minor sleeve removal scuffs under strong artificial light.

Side D has a number of light scratches/hairlines and scuff marks, again non seem deep at all

Side B has a couple of light hairlines, a few sleeve removal scuffs, no deep scratches (I believe this record may have a very slight warp to one edge, it shouldnt affect playing it but it may do.

Side C A number of light scuffs, a few small hairlines, no deep scratches

1st Press Stereo Labels : Side A & B labels are clean and undamaged, very nice. Side C & D both have an area where the label has been torn (see photos)

Original 1st press Stereo Sleeve Laminated front and back, Iconic Naked ladies front and back. Inside It has  Hendrix Photo, Large Mitch and Noel Photos and FULL Blue Text...The Front and Back (Naked ladies) are generally flat and clean, damage to front top right, has a dent that has broken the actual sleeve, still has a shine but does have the some laminate creasing from edges. The opening edge has light wear, top and bottom edge has light wear, corners have wear and spine has damage (please see photo) Part of the spine is not there any more. Now the inside, A few very minor laminate creases and the center fold shows some wear. the damage to the outer spine is not visible inside. This is an honest description of a very very rare sleeve.

Super rare 1st press which is sold as a used item with the above damage, if you are looking for a top copy this isn't it. Only bid if you have read and understood the damage.

I will describe any flaws such as wear to sleeves, scuffs, marks or scratches to vinyl and describe them honestly, if you expect a better condition than I have listed then you need to learn to read. I will grade based on visual inspection under artificial light, I will not listen to every LP, I will listen to the rarer ones and give a play grading. PLEASE remember this is Vinyl...even brand new vinyl can have clicks and pops...that's part of its charm...if you want perfect audio without background noise...how about CD's or MP3's? Due to my poor hearing, The record is sold as visually inspected so please base your bidding solely on this.

With that said....many rarities will be listed, some fair condition some near mint.

Any questions...please ask.

I will not post to Russia or Australia...sorry.

Premium quality record mailers will be used with 2 sheets of additional cardboard.
