Description
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - "Electric Ladyland" Double Vinyl LP.
Early 1970's UK-issue 16-track Double LP on Polydor Records.
Classic Hendrix, the subject of much folklore, legend, printed word, and film documentary!
This is an early example of the Polydor issue - with fully-laminated "Howards Printers" Gatefold sleeve, and original polylined inners.
It is pressed for optimum use with "Autochanger" turntables which were common at the time, i.e. Sides A and D are on one LP, Sides B and C on the other. (I can however vouch for the fact this hasn't been near one of those daft (and thankfully short-lived) contraptions !!!)
Only the vinyl format does justice to the classic "Nude" cover.
Like the Gatefold editions of most Hendrix LP's, this also has some superb and evocative photography on the inside - again, only the vinyl format really does it justice.
Superb condition all round (see detailed gradings below).
You simply don't see these turn up like this any more - The vinyl in particular is immaculate!
Catalog Number - 2657 012 (Set). LP's are 2310269 (A/D), 2310270 (B/C).

Vinyl - EX Plus
- All clean and unmarked, Literally "as new". Virtually no sign of any play or handling.
Gatefold Sleeve - EX
- No sticker marks or writing, No ring wear, No edge or spine wear, No splits.
- No laminate peeling
- Nice Sharp, Unrubbed corners
- Small crease near the centre of the spine, otherwise it's near-perfect!
- Just the very lightest of general handling/storage wear.
Inner Sleeves - EX Plus
- Original generic "Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous" polylined inners
- Both clean and bright with no splits.
Labels - EX Plus
- Clean and unmarked - No wear, writing or sticker marks. No spindle marks. No fading.

Purpose-designed mailing/packaging materials will be used.
Your record(s) will be well protected against the rigours of normal handling/shipping, including getting wet in the rain!
All records are packed outside of their main packaging (in a new plain inner where necessary), to avoid sleeve splits in transit.
Gradings :-
I use the UK "Record Collector Magazine" grading system for vinyl.
