Description
First “blue text” Track Records pressing of this iconic and beautifully crafted album.
Cover has been sellotaped along all edges and has deteriorated over time. However, the gatefold sleeve is fully intact and both interior and exterior colour remains excellent throughout. Some acetate has come off interior edges (see photos), but photos of Jimi, Noel and Mitch and blue text all intact. GOOD PLUS
Sides A & D (matrix 613008 with 613008A and 613008B inverted on each side). Shows some scratching and marking on both surfaces. Labels have spindle marks but are clean and intact. Both sides play through with some crackling and clicks but nothing that overpowers the complexity and subtlety of the recording. V GOOD
Sides B & C (matrix 613009 with 613009A and 613009B inverted on each side). Has a slight warp and shows some scratching and marking on both surfaces. Labels have spindle marks but are clean and intact. Both sides play through with some crackling and clicks but nothing that overpowers the complexity and subtlety of the recording. V GOOD
Inner sleeves have split along edges and are in FAIR condition.
All in all a Very good example of this rare original press of this iconic near 50 year old album.
Record Collector Grading System
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

On 22-Dec-17 at 00:58:22 GMT, seller added the following information:- Title should read STEREO not mono. The result of entering a number of albums in bulk and not checking properly. Big apologies for any confusion caused and thanks to those who have contacted about this. Tried to revise the title but system won't let me.
