Description
Fantastic Hendrix double LP with the famous centrefold. Bought by me from the specialist record shop I was working in - we were not allowed to put the cover in the display racks and when selling it, it was put in the bag before being handed over!
This is a first pressing. Matrix numbers are:
Side A: 61300 [scratched through] then handwritten 8, then A//1 1
Side D: 61300 [scratched through] then handwritten 8, then B//1 1
Side B: 613008 [the 8 is scratched on] then handwritten 9, then A B [scratched out]//1 12
Side C: long scratched out number, plus 613009 B [all handwritten]

These vinyls have been professionally cleaned using 'Knosti', which removes dirt, dust, static, and mould-release-agent residue responsible for most of the background noise on records.
This has left the set with visible light scratches, a little crackle and a small number of clicks (last few grooves of All Along the Watchtower and Track 3 on B). Overall, it plays well.
Gatefold sleeve: see photos. White printed text. Wear on edges but no splits. Some creases.
Inner sleeves are original and have corner creases.
I have played this to check it on a quality hifi and the overall quality is good to very good.
This is an important record as Hendrix fans will know, and I will answer any questions you may have.
Much of his best work is on the set: Electric Ladyland; Crosstown Traffic; Voodoo Chile; Gypsy Eyes; All Along the Watchtower.
Record will be packed between card and overwrapped securely. Sent recorded and signed for.
