Description

'Smash Hits' original pressing on the UK Track label from 1969. Matrix - A2/B5. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in its original cover printed by MacNeill Press Ltd. and includes the original inner sleeve.The layout of text on the record label is consistent with the period immediately after the first Mono copies were issued. 

Vinyl (Ex+) Looks remarkably well preserved and has clearly seen only very light use. Under close inspection I can barely see a single mark either side and the surface is shiny like new. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity and hardly any interference at all. Very difficult to find vintage records that have been looked after as well as this...
Cover (Ex-) Again, has been looked after with great care down the years. Lovely shiny front and a rear free from marks - the only vaguely noticeable deterioration is a light bit of ageing toward the top of the rear. Overall the cover still has a nice rigid feel to it with very little edge wear at all. The spine is entirely intact. A beautiful example of a vintage cover.
Inner (Vg+) Some light ageing and a tiny tear - otherwise absolutely fine.
