Description
Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting records in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!
I bought the Winterland box set in 2011 when it was released, but have never got-around to opening it. Tracks from concerts at Winterland in October 1968, plus an interview on the last side. These are numbered, as per my third picture.
Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look.
Condition - This is still in un-opened shrink-wrap. Box is in excellent condition. Shrink-wrap has gotten torn in a couple of places on the front (as shown in my fifth and sixth pictures). At the lower hole in the shrink-wrap, there are two scorings (long narrow dents) on the box within - not deep, not gone through the printed picture). Apart from that, I see no damage at all. It has been stored flat, in "climate controlled conditions" - my home!
A top copy of this can go for over £100.
This weighs over 3 kilos. The best option I can use for sending to the auction winner, is by Hermes courier. This will cost £6.49. This might be vulnerable to careless handling in transit, so I propose to take their offered insurance, cover up to £70, costing £1.90. If you don't want to pay for the insurance, message me to say so.
I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - you need to know this stuff.
Dispatch will usually be "next day".
Collection in person is welcome.
I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.
They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.
This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid.
Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - there is no combined postage, I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.
If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.
International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!)
Australia Austria Belgium Bulgaria Canada Croatia Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Ireland Israel Italy Japan Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Netherlands New Zealand Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand Turkey Norway Poland Portugal Romania Russia Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden, United States, Antigua & Barbuda Aruba Bangladesh Barbados Belize Bermuda Bolivia Brunei Darussalam Cambodia Cayman Islands Dominica Ecuador Egypt French Guiana Gibraltar Grenada Guadeloupe Guernsey Iceland Jersey Jordan Liechtenstein Macau Maldives Martinique Monaco Montserrat Nicaragua Oman Pakistan Paraguay Peru Reunion Saint Kitts & Nevis Saint Lucia Sri Lanka and Turks & Caicos Islands
Applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid.
I don't send to China (because I don't want to), and not to Japan, Brazil Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
