Description

Live at Woodstock is a posthumous live album by Jimi Hendrix released on July 6, 1999.  However, it appears that this particular box was released in 2004  or later.  The album documents most of Hendrix's performance with his band Gypsy Sun and Rainbows at Woodstock Festival on August 18, 1969. Pressed on three 180 gram 12" black vinyl LP records.

Each record is in its own white paper sleeve which is in a decorated cardboard sleeve.  The three cardboard sleeves have different decorations.  See picture #8 for the front cover of one of these cardboard sleeves.

The performers include Billy Cox, Mitch Mitchell, Juma Sultan, Larry Lee and Jerry Velez.              

Included is a 7" EP record which has Message to the Universe (Message of Love) and Izabella,  See picture nos. 5 - 7.

Also included is a 36 page 11" x 11" booklet with many pictures.  See picture #9.  Please note: the booklet includes the following: "Thanks to: First giving thanks to Jesus Christ who is the Lord & Savior of our life... Like Jimi once wrote, 'Purple Haze, Jesus Saves.'"  FWIW.

Also included are souvenirs: an $8.00 admission ticket #00634  to "Woodstock Music and Art Fair" and a dated guitar pick.  See picture nos. 10 - 11. I do not know the story behind these souvenirs.

Everything is in excellent if not mint condition.
