Description
The 8 ½” x 11” slip sheet has been glued to the plain white cover sideways. Lower right corner of slip sheet is now coming unglued and has a 3/8 inch tear on the right side. Song titles have been handwritten on back cover. There is white gauze tape along the spine of the cover to prevent it from splitting, I suppose.
The vinyl is in pretty good shape with light wear in the form of light scratches. The most surface noise is on Burning The Midnight Lamp. There is also a “jump back” (what is it called when the stylus is nudged back and keeps repeating in the same groove?) at the very end of Voodoo Chile. It does play through if I give it a little help. When held up to the light, that particular section of that groove looks very light. Don’t know why.
Songs include Sgt. Pepper’s, Hey Joe, I Don’t Live Today, The Wind Cries Mary, Foxy Lady, Fire, Burning The Midnight Lamp, Purple Haze, Sunshine Of Your Love, Voodoo Chile.
I’m not sure which Stockholm concert this is from. The first part is probably ’67. Before Midnight Lamp he says “this is the first time we’ve played it… in front of people.” Sunshine and Voodoo are probably from ’68. Before Voodoo he says “we’ve only been playing for about six weeks.”
