Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting LPs in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!

Maybe not everybody knows what this is. In 1988, this was created by Westwood One in USA, as a ready-made radio show (in three episodes). It has some familiar  music and a lot of unreleased tracks, contributed by Alan Douglas, who was in charge of Jimi's unreleased material at that time. In the UK, Castle Communications record label decided to release it in a limited edition on vinyl. to the public. Being a radio programme, there's a guy who sometimes talks over bits of rare tracks, but there are long stretches of un-interrupted listening. Audio quality is excellent - this isn't a bootleg! I've been listening to side seven, which includes unreleased take 4 of "Voodoo Chile Slight Return" and a long excerpt from a very different mix of "1983.. [A Merman I Should Turn To Be]", un-interrupted, or nearly so.

Box - As pictured, shows serious wear, but still just-about holding together. Two corners split on the lid, one on the bottom, and a split at the top of the lid, wear around the edges. A poster is included, shows wear and pin-holes.

Records - Generally very good - lots of minor scratches altogether when you list it out for the whole 10 sides, but this is not horrible damage and records very listenable. Here's that long list!

Side one - has a noticeable fingernail mark from track 2 going across track 3. There's a light scratch at start of track 1. 

Side two - has two light scratches on track 1, and two even lighter ones on track 2.

Side three - There's a small scratch on track 1, and a short light scratch at end of track 1.

Side four - Two short scratches at end of track 1.

Side five - Has a light scratch on track 1. Short scratch on track 2, a light scratch at the start of track 1.

Side six - There's a scratch going from track 2 into track 3. A light scratch on track 2, and another on track 2 and 3.

Side seven - There's a tiny mark / impact on track 1, and a surface fingernail mark on track 2. There's a light scratch on track 1, and a scuff with lightest scratches in it, on track 1.

Side eight - is excellent

Side nine - has a small fingernail mark on track 2.  

Side ten - has a short scratch at start of track 1, and a surface mark on same track. There are a pair of short scratches on track 2, and a short scratch at the end.

Play-testing sides 7 and 8 has been very enjoyable, plays very well.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges, then do not bid.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.

I WILL DEFINITELY NOT post to countries that are not included in the above lists, and I don't send to China.
