This vinyl record by Jimi Hendrix features his legendary live performance in Maui. The colored purple vinyl and 12" LP format make for a unique and valuable addition to any music collection. The cardboard sleeve case type protects the record, which is in good condition , and has a speed of 33 RPM.
The release title, "Jimi Hendrix Live in Maui," captures the psychedelic rock style and genre of the music. The record was released in the early 70’s and features English language lyrics. The album's features include colored vinyl and the edition is live. The artist, Hendrix, Jimi, adds to the value of this rare find. This copy on purple vinyl, is an edition of less the 5000 original pressings . This copy was purchased on Maui from someone involved in the concert and was sent this copy directly from the record label in the 70’s it remained, well cared for in his collection until recently . So I am the second owner .
I’m not seeing any other comparable records on E bay . I think recently this recording has been remastered, and reissued by a major label with illustrations on the record jacket, this is NOT that record. This is the very rare original “bootleg” release from a small record company in Holland . Apparently this record is very hard to find for sale as I can’t find an identical copy anywhere for sale on line. Priced accordingly..
