"JIMI HENDRIX- Are You Experienced - Rare MONO Original 1st Pressing with Super Hard to Find Reprise Special Sticker (see closeup pic)  - 1967 R 6261 First pressing on Reprise with beautiful TRI COLOR label, No bar code, no cut out corners or notches or saw cuts,  ......thick inflexible vinyl....Super clean no writing on labels. (see pics) PLAY TESTED..See all details below.

The complete package! Top Mono '67 Original...part of a collection of a true record audiophile who had some of the hardest vinyl to find anywhere.

CATALOGUE#: REPRISE R 6261

VINYL: VG  Thick inflexible original vinyl.  Hairline scratches and scuffs. 

COVER: VG++

No seam splits, no ringwear , barely any edgewear, fully legible spine,  age discoloration is present (see pics)  Super rare Yellow sticker ("This Record Can be Played on STEREO Phonograph") shows some tear marks.  

LABEL: NEAR MINT-  Gorgeous Tri Color labels with Steamboat Logo.

PLAY TESTED: Visually rates VG but 95% of the hairlines and scuffs are not felt by finger touch... so this great Hendrix Mono classic of all time plays much much better that it looks.  Nearly every song plays Powerfully, with rich full Mono sound fidelity and with barely any surface noise.  Finally,  Please note that a noticeable "finger touch" hairline scratch does exist in "The Wind Cries Mary" which does result in surface noise.   I did detect some inter track surface crackle between some songs before they establish but nothing serious.

Vinyl grading: 

M = Mint (like new, looks Unplayed!)  (Superior play) 

NM = Near Mint  (very clean, barely a mark)  (Plays Great!) 

VG++ = Excellent (some very light scuffs or hairlines) (Nice Play…barely any surface crackle)

VG+ = With a decent amount of scuffs and hairlines (with obvious surface noise)

VG = Very scratched (but plays much better than the appearance seems to be)

Cover Grading:  

NM = Cover shows no seam splits, no ringwear, barely any or no edge wear.

NM- = Same as NM but may have 1 or 2 small imperfections which are not significant

VG++ = Perhaps a neatly taped seam split or two, or some creases, or some light ringwear or a combination of these

VG+ =  Often strong signs of ringwear, or many seam splits, or large very noticeable creases, or stains or a combination of these

VG = An unappealing cover in many ways but the rareness of the album or the high quality of the vinyl makes the album still worthwhile to the listener
