Here’s a legitimate piece of music history in the form of a record album (and in pretty good shape to boot), The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced ?. This is the record that made Jimi, the NOT SO overnight sensation, a household name (at least in all the cool houses). Released in 1967 just months after Sgt. Pepper took the world by storm and being the second “bloom” in that “summer of love” period.

The copy I’m offering you here is a First Pressing - MONO mixed record with clean and mark free tri-color reprise labels. The vinyl is not mint but plays great. There are plenty of light surface marks when held to the light but nothing that can be felt when running your fingers over the shiny surface. Some background noise “sneaks” in rarely and in no way takes away from the listening of this album. I’d go with a VG+ rating for those Goldmine guidelines and the same goes for the cover. There is some noticeable shelf wear and a minute seam split (0.5”) bottom right but please know I provide as detailed pictures as possible. Four Smith-Victor photography floor lamps are bearing down when my photos are taken so nothing can hide. When this album is in your hands it’ll look better than it does in the pictures within this listing and I want it that way. I’m a collector first and know that feeling of dissatisfaction when I receive an album that looked better in the pictures when I bought it. Plain and simple this copy I’m offering is worthy of being pulled and played without issues. I know someone will enjoy having this Jimi Hendrix “foundation” recording resting on their record shelf and ready to play.
