Description
This is a very rare opportunity. This box set has never been played in the 10 years I've owned it and looks like none of the records have ever been played as the condition is just superb...no scratches or damage. The box itself is a little frayed on the edge but nothing serious as you will see in the pictures.
Box set contains the following albums:
1. Are You Experienced originally released 1967 on Polydor 2459 390
2. Axis: Bold as Love (credited to the Jimi Hendrix Experience) originally released 1967 on Polydor 2459 391 with original gatefold sleeve
3. Electric Ladyland (double album credited to the Jimi Hendrix Experience) originally released 1968 on Polydor 2310 270 with original gatefold sleeve (album cover shows different number - Polydor 2657 012)
4. Band of Gypsys originally released 1970 on Polydor 2480 005
5. Isle of Wight originally released 1971 on Polydor 2302 016
6. Hendrix in the West originally released 1971 on Polydor 2302 018 with original gatefold sleeve
7. The Cry of Love originally released 1971 on Polydor 2302 023 with original gatefold sleeve
8. War Heroes originally released 1972 on Polydor 2302 020 (album cover shows different number - Polydor 2459 389)
9. Loose Ends originally released 1973 on Polydor 2310 301
10. Midnight Lightning originally released 1975 on Polydor 2310 398
11. Crash Landing originally released 1975 on Polydor 2310 415
12. Nine to the Universe originally released 1980 on Polydor POLS 1023
Sleeves are all stamped at rear in gold with "Limited Edition Box Set". All sleeves are printed in England except 1, 2 and 8 (West Germany) and 9 (not stated). Record labels all state records are made in England.
There is also a fold out booklet enclosed...see pics. This is a rare chance to snap up a must have piece of Hendrix discography.
