Description
This is "Sky High!" by Jimi Hendix. It was released in 1972. It has a plain white jacket with a paper insert with the album information, which is typical for these records at the time. The labels on the record are silly. The labels say "Duck Records Limited Edition Collectors Record Duck Hits" and list silly titles, all of which have nothing to do with the actual titles on the album.
The paper insert lists what is actually on the album. It is a high quality stereo recording of a jam at the Record Plant from 1970 featuring Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Johnny Winter, Mitch Mitchel and Noel Redding.

I test played parts of this album and was very surprised at how good sound quality was. The vinyl was very clean. Just light pops and the vinyl was quiet. The sound was crisp and in stereo. I did not hear any scratches or bad pops. I did not listen to the entire album, but what I did hear sounded great. I used a high quality Techniques turntable and high quality cartridge.
I am only a casual Hendrix fan and I did not know anything about this record. I have looked around and the consensus is that Johnny Winter probably is not on this recording although some people think it is likely Rick Derringer.
