On offer here is a copy of Voodoo Chile The Jimi Hendrix Collection, a fantastic 4 LP Vinyl Box set of the masters work, pressed on heavyweight vinyl by Classic Records of the US and released on the Experience Hendrix label in 2001, catalogue number RTH 2016.
I have taken a picture of the covers which shows the tracks from his studio albums and live tracks from Woodstock, the Isle Of Wight Winterland and the Monterey Pop Festival. There are six alternative recordings to add interest.
The set contains four heavyweight 180 gram vinyl LP’s with picture sleeves and a 12 page booklet with some great pictures, track details and an essay by Kurt Loder. This was an official Experience Hendrix album release under exclusive licence to Classic Records of the USA.
I bought this new on release after ordering it from my then local independent record shop, and have played it only once before storing it away. There is a very small bit of scuff on the bottom edge of the box I have included a picture of this for the sake of clarity and honesty.
This is now a difficult set to find especially in the once played condition and an absolute essential to any rock collection.
