Description
Jimi Hendrix at 1967 Monterey Festival. NOS McFarlane collectable figure 2004 in factory sealed unopened packaging.
On offer is the highly collectable McFarlane model of guitar legend Jimi Hendrix. This shockingly detailed figure re-creates one of rock music's most lasting images: Hendrix coaxing flames from his guitar on stage at the Monterey Pop Festival on June 18th, 1967.
(See my other items for the Jimi at Woodstock set which I am also selling).
FREE Postage & packing is included in the purchase price. (Applies to UK postage address only - If applicable see international postage costs which will be applied to items shipped via eBay Global Shipping Programme).
All pictures are of the actual item being sold except the archive image of the assembled diorama as it would be when set-up. The actual item on sale has never been removed from the factory sealed packaging.
The item is in “new old stock condition” from about 2004. The packaging has genuinely never been opened since it was originally purchased and stored away.This is a much sought after and highly collectable set with the beautifully accurate and detailed Jimi Hendrix figure, setting fire to his famous Fender Stratocaster guitar on stage. The detail of this sculpture is amazing, even down to his clothing and jewellery. Even the Fender guitar headstock logo is finely replicated in detail.
In addition to Jimi kneeling and coaxing the flames from his guitar, this set contains the stage setup including;
- Wooden stage diorama
- Jimi’s flaming Fender Stratocaster
- 1x Marshall Amplifier stack. (1 x 100w amplifier head and 2 of 4x12 speaker cabinets)
- Lighter fluid container etc.
Condition of the contents must be 10/10. Packaging box condition I would consider 8/10 only due to the fact that there is slight discolouration (yellowing) of the plastic “blister” packaging as can be seen in the images, and I can find one small split in the plastic top left, as shown in the last image.
The original blister packaging is unopened and still factory sealed as it was when manufactured.
A rare opportunity to own a genuinely exceptional and collectable sculpture set of Jimi at one of his most famous concerts, Monterey 1967.

What others say: Below are some genuine reviews excerpts copied from the internet of others who have purchased and own this Jimi Hendrix Monterey set.
5.0 out of 5 starsMcFarlane Toys does it again. By Robb Phillips on January 5, 2005 Verified Purchase As with the Woodstock boxed set McFarlane Toys has created yet another highly detailed figure. The attention to that detail is obvious to diehard Hendrix fans, the can of lighter fluid is painted in the colors of the brand he used in 1967, the hand painted Fender strat (the figure is licensed by Fender as well). Even his Marshall stack is askew due to Jimi slamming body and guitar into it to produce howling feedback. This figure represents the first U.S. performance of the Jimi Hendrix Experience. As he said before his set his guitar ablaze, " I'm about to sacrifice something I really love", and it was a sacrifice that will forever engrain Jimi Hendrix in our memories.
5.0 out of 5 starsIt's Jimi Hendrix at Monterey Pop, not Woodstock By Kevin R. Doherty on November 3, 2004 Verified Purchase I'm looking forward to acquiring this figure as a companion piece to my Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock figure, but it should be noted here that this representation of Jimi is from the end of his performance of "Wild Thing" at the Monterey Pop Festival in June of 1967, where he set his guitar on fire and then proceeded to smash it to pieces. This should not be confused with the other McFarlane Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock figure, which is a representation of his stage appearance at the Woodstock Festival in August of 1969.
jimi Bytercpeeron January 26, 2014 Verified Purchase These are so detailed it is almost impossible to not be impressed.
