Jimmie Rodgers ~ Victor 21636 ~ MEMPHIS YODEL/LULLABY..
Jimmie Rodgers, thought by many to be the Father of Country Music (also known as The Singing Brakeman and the Blue Yodeler). He was most active between 1927 and 1933. In 1933 he died in New York City of tuberculosis after a number of recording sessions. He was only 35 at the time.
