Jimmy Barnes ORIG OZ LP Soul deep EX '91 Mushroom TVL93344 Cold Chisel


Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1991 on Mushroom Records. Cat: TVL93344. Comes with printed inner bag which is in Excellent condition.
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward on listing them over the next few months.
In other words, depending on your viewpoint, this album is either an abomination or a refreshing new take on some classic Motown songs. Purists will hate Barnes' gravelly delivery of these songs (which does descend into pointless screaming far too often), but Barnes has assembled a surprisingly cohesive tribute to '60s soul. It's typical Barnes, but with a twist, making this a brave, yet rewarding, step away from his stale blue-collar commercial rock

  There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff and is in Excellent condition. Cover is in Excellent condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
