Description
On offer here is a copy of the UK original first pressing of Jimmy Campbell’s album "Half Baked" from 1970. Vertigo swirl labels. Vertigo 6360 010. Gatefold sleeve designed by the great Keef.
Record: VG++
Shiny glossy vinyl with very light and non-sounding surface marks visible under a strong halogen light. Some very light and wispy non-sounding scuffs from removing the vinyl record from the inner sleeve.
The record plays great with a clear and distortion-free sound. No sticks, jumps or other tracking issues. Some light and soft crackle now and then audible in more quiet parts.
The lables are very clean with a few spindle marks. No writing or stickers.

Sleeve: VG
Moderate wear to edges, seams and spine. A pretty nice sleeve, apart from a tear (3x3 cm) at the backside lower right corner and also a sticker at the backside edge (please see the pictures). No swirl inner bag.
Grading
Records are graded very conservatively, and visual inspections are done under a strong halogen lamp. I follow the Record Collector grading system.

This record will be shipped from Sweden.
Shipping cost for Standard delivery: Europe 9 GBP. United States, Canada and Japan 10 GBP.
Shipping cost for Tracked postage: Europe 16 GBP. Rest of the world 17 GBP.
I pack using professional mailers and stiffeners. I will remove the record from the outer sleeve to avoid seam splits.
Record cleaning and playing
All my records are carefully cleaned using a professional VPI 16.5 record vaccum cleaning machine for superior sound and vinyl preservation. After cleaning the record is put in a brand new lined inner sleeve. Of course, the original inner sleeve is included when existing.
The amount of surface noice, crackle etc. of course depends on the condition of the record, but also the kind of equipment used. This record has been graded by using an extremely revealing top quality high end system. Turntable: Brinkmann Balance. Tonearm: Thales Simplicity. Cartridge: Dynavector XX2 Mk II, tracking at 1.9 grams.
