Original 1957 first pressing with matrix numbers 57-102/3, as well as a machine marking in the deadwax
Very rare early release that never turns up by this prolific, talented, r&b and funk singer and musician.
He achieved fame many years later with The Jimmy Castor Bunch.
Record is in VG to VG+ condition, just light surface marks, but nothing close to any finger felt scratches.
At the end of the playing grooves on each side, there seems to be minor groove abrasions, but I wouldn't consider them groove wear because both sides, from beginning to end play vibrant and clean, without any audible distortion or noise. Full sound clips of both sides have been added so you can hear how clean it plays.
The labels have some wear, and small pen writing on one side.
